Our Story:
From friends, to strangers, to more

6H9B4204.JPG

How they met:
Colton and Zoe met in 8th grade during lunch on the Coweeman tennis courts where the teachers forced the kids out for fresh air. Fast friends along with a group of peers, we spent most afternoons like this. Looking back, Colton says he remembered Zoe’s kindness, outgoing personality and her smile. And Zoe, with the memory of a goldfish, remembers nothing except Colton’s maroon sweatshirt and him sharing it on cold days. We spent little time together throughout high school, besides the quick hello in passing, life moving in different ways except in senior year, Colton gave Zoe the sweatshirt she loved from 8th grade, which did follow her to college!

Getting together:
2023 due to a coincidence in knowing the same people, we reconnected for a brief time. Just quick close and seeing what the other was doing and went on our separate ways.
June of 2024 Zoe reached out while on a trip with her friends, Kate and John. She was scrolling through her phone looking for someone to text during a scary movie. Colton responded, having just watched one of his favorite boxers lose a fight and was happy for the distraction. The two of us continue to text into the night.

Falling in love:
our first date we had was a restaurant in Richfield. It was a Saturday mid June and Zoe had just come from the Ren faire. One of her favorite things to say is he knew what he was getting into because as you were to guess, she was dressed as a fairy wings, and all.
Months later, they took a trip down to Klamath Falls.
